TRAIL RIDES
2008
Birdwood Downs is home to the Kimberley School of Horsemanship, which offers
guided trail rides through a Savannah landscape. The Savannah Trail Ride
consists of 1/2 hour being on the ground getting to know the horse you will
ride, as well as grooming and saddling, and one hour riding in our pastures.
Price: $50 per person. Minimum two people. ($50 per person for each additional hour.)

CHAMPAGNE SUNSETS
Suitable for beginners, through Boab paddock to our special Sunset
Boab where we enjoy a glass of bubbly, climb the Boab and watch
the sunset. This Boab has been dated as 1500 years old and is
pretty special.

FULL MOON
Suitable for intermediate riders who will enjoy seeing the rising
moon and the setting sun in the Kimberley sky at the same time
on horseback.

MARSHLANDS/ TIDAL CREEK
Suitable for experienced riders this trail ride will take you
through the changing landscape of the Savannahs to the dramatic
tidal marshland.
Approximately 3 hours duration
