Birdwood
Downs Company, based in Derby, Western Australia, is the company
contracted by the owners, Global Ecotechnics Corporation,
to manage this 5000 acre station, Birdwood Downs. Since 1978,
promising grass and legume species have been grown for trial,
seed production, and for evaluation of grazing, haying, fertilizer
and pastoral management alternatives.

Downs also offers consulting and educational programs on a
total systems program for creating and managing productive
pastures in the dry tropical regions of the world.

Downs Company manages the Kimberley School of Horsemanship
which offers a six month program as well as workshops in horse
riding, cattle and pastoral land management.
